The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ==================================================================== Funeral service for Mrs. Carmeleta Fay Cofer, 42, Ninnekah, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Ninnekah Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Freeman of Ninnekah and Rev. Charles Elmore, Alex, officiating. Mrs. Cofer was born October 23, 1931, in Ninnekah. She had been a resident of Ninnekah most of her life. She was a member of the Ninnekah Baptist Church. She married John H. Cofer August 4, 1969. She died Monday (December 31, 1973) in Grady Memorial Hospital from injuries sustained in a Thursday night two car accident. Survivors include her husband John of the home; three daughters, Miss Louise Richardson, Miss Joy Mills and Katherine Mills, all of Ninnekah, one son, William Mills of Ninnekah, and one grandson, her father, Claud Richardson of Ninnekah; two sisters, Myrtle McClellan of Alex and Georgia Johnson of Ninnekah. Interment will be in Ninnekah Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. ===== Funeral service for Mrs. Carmeleta Fay Cofer, 42, Ninnekah, was held Wednesday in the Ninnekah Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Freeman and Rev. Charles Elmore officiating. Music was provided by Mrs. Vernon Boatright, Organist and Mrs. Johnny Freeman and Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Boatright, singers.
