The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ==================================================================== Funeral for Mrs. Della Wilson Cofer, 70, Ninnekah, died at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, August 30, 1967, in Norman Oklahoma. She has been in failing health the past three years. She was born April 29, 1899, in Milo, Oklahoma, and spent most of her life in the Alex and Ninnekah communities. She married Tom Cofer on December 24, 1923, in Chickasha. They farmed in the Agawam community for over 40 years before retiring six years ago. Mrs. Cofer was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Ninnekah. She was visiting her daughter, Joy Heitcel, in Moore, when she suffered a heart attack. Survivors include her husband, Tom, of the home; four daughters, Francis and Charles Crow, LaGrange, Georgia, Clara and Charles Hinson, Columbus, Georgia, Juanita and Charles Dewese, Ft. Benning, Georgia, one son, Richard and Earlene Cofer, Alex, Oklahoma, five brothers, Edom Merrell, Fresno, California, John Merrell, Bakersfield, California, Jack Merrell, Fresno, California, Lewis Merrell, Moore, Oklahoma, and Cleburn Merrell of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, two sisters, Juanita Hurley, Alex, Oklahoma, Eula Mills, Yukon, Oklahoma and 13 grandchildren. --------------------------------------------------------------------
