Jerald Cook

Jerald Dixon Cook, 71, died Dec. 17 in a Las Vegas hospital.

He was born Dec. 27, 1928, in Rush Springs, Okla. A Navy and Air Force 
veteran who served during World War II, he was a retired pipe fitter for 
Local 525 and a 34-year resident of Las Vegas.

He is survived by his sons, James of Las Vegas and Dean of Dallas; 
daughters, Deborah Shipton and Beth, both of Las Vegas, and Kristel 
Welcome and Maralee Hunt, both of Tulsa, Okla.; 13 grandchildren; and 
eight great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Palm Mortuary-Jones.
