He was surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born November 18, 1941 in Tuttle, Oklahoma to James Lorn and Martha May Cox. Jim graduated from Tuttle High School in 1961. He is survived by his wife Wanda Cox; daughter Tammy Cox of Oklahoma City, OK and son Shawn Cox and wife Stacy and two grandsons Shawn and Ryan of Grand Junction, CO; sisters: Ruby Strnad, Carlene Callahan, Ola Merrell; brothers: Wayne, Paul, Dete, and Finis Cox; Uncle Hanford Cox and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: James, Billy, Ruff and Mark Cox. The family wishes to thank the staff at Good Shepherd Hospice including Dee Fairchild RN, Pat Konx and Heather Lee, Nurse Aide, Genevia Fulton "The Pie Lady" Volunteer.
