Rev. Eddie Critchfield, of Southern Heights Baptist Church, of El Reno, Okla., will officiate. Velma Lucille Chester was born April 10, 1916, in Wetumka, Okla., and died on Thursday, June 26, 2003, in Chickasha, Okla. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Minco, under the direction of Huber- Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco. ========== The Chickasha Express-Star 30 June 2003 VELMA LUCILLE CHESTER Services for Velma Lucille Chester, 87, of Minco, was held Monday, June 30, 2003, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Minco. Rev. Eddie Critchfield of the Southern Heights Baptist Church of El Reno officiated. Velma Lucille Chester was born April 10, 1916, at Wetumka, Oklahoma, to Henry and Sadie Eakman Wilkerson, and died Thursday at Chickasha. Velma had lived in the Minco community for 70 years. She married Jessie Samuel Chester on February 14, 1935, at Anadarko, and was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by parents: Henry and Sadie Wilkerson; 2 sons: Donald and Charles Chester; 3 sisters: Mae Day, Margaret Hall and Stella Berger; 4 brothers: Francis (Babe) Wilkerson, Herschel Wilkerson, Lee Wilkerson, and Jimmy Wilkerson.
