Obituary


L. Cochran, ages 31 years, son of M. J. Cochran, died at his home in New 
Mexico last week.  The body was shipped to Verden Sunday for burial.  Funeral 
services were held at the home of J. M. Cochran, east of Verden, Monday 
afternoon, conducted by Elder J. B. Raines, and interment made in the Verden 
cemetery.

Deceased has been connected with a bank in New Mexico for the past six years, 
and had just arrived at the successful period of his life when the call came. 
 He was a young man of sterling qualities and was held in the highest esteem 
by citizens of his community.
