Street, Cement, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20, 1989, in the Brown-Binyon Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Sam Evans officiating. He was born June 11, 1893, in Morehead, Round County, Ken., the son of William Wadsworth "Dee" and Clarinda (McKenzie) Cocheran. He died Friday, Feb. 17, 1989, at his home in Cement. He came to Indian Territory, now Oklahoma, at the age of 13 with his parents in a covered wagon. The family settled on a farm near Chickasha. He married Elsie Goldena Skaggs on Oct. 4, 1933, in Chickasha. The Cocherans farmed in the Chickasha area and south of Verden until he retired and moved to Cement. Mr. Cocheran was a member of the Cement Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by both parents; by two brothers and five sisters; and by a son, Dale Cocheran, in November, 1942. Survivors include his wife, Elsie G. of the home; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Wiley and LaVelle Cocheran of Cement, Lonnie and Davelyn Cocheran of Cyril; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Brown- Binyon Funeral home. ~~~~~ The Chickasha Daily Express February 1989 Wick Cocheran Funeral for Wick Cocheran, 95, 609 North B Street, Cement, was held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20, 1989, in the Brown-Binyon Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Sam Evans officiating. Singers were Glen Thomas, Doug Sikes, John Mosley and Rick Vickrey. Casket bearers were Bill Talbert, Dale Mitchell, Leonard Wagner, Buford Munn, Carl Hall and Randy Cocheran.
