The Verden News
May 13, 1949

Graveside rites were conducted for Shirley Sue Choat, stillborn daughter 
of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur J. Choat, at 2:30 May 9 at the Verden cemetery. 
Rev Garland Anderson, pastor of the First Baptist church, Verden, 
officiated and the Hansen Funeral Home was in charge of the 
arrangements.

Shirley Sue was born May 9 in the Anadarko hospital.

Survivors include the parents, three brothers, Orville Choat, Indiana 
and Raymond and A. J. Jr., of the home and one sister, Mrs. Verna Mae 
Williams, Anadarko, route 1.

Mrs. Choat was returned to her home from the hosptal Thursday.
