COLE Elton Bryan (E.B.) Cole, 80, passed away Friday, August 27th, at Southwestern Medical Center in Lawton, OK. He was born to Frank and Agatha Cole on September 24, 1923. He was raised on a family farm and graduated from Pioneer High School in Norge, OK. He was a member of the Baptist Church. E.B. and Maxine McDonald were married April 26, 1942. World War II was raging, so E.B. joined the Army Air Force. He was made a staff sergeant in the 881st Bombardment Squadron and served in the western Pacific from March 1943 to December 1945. In 1946, E.B. went to Southwestern Institute of Technology in Weatherford, OK, where he acquired a license to install and service air conditioning systems. He went into the air conditioning business in Chickasha. He was preceded in death by both parents, Frank and Agatha Cole, his daughter, Sherra Sue Spears, in August 2004, and his brother, Loyd Cole, in December 2003. He is survived by one daughter, Kay Mitchel, and her husband Ron, of Chickasha, OK; two granddaughters, Kimberly Kay Stice and her husband Scott, of Camarillo, CA, and Sherri Kay Garduno and her husband, Yahve, of Freemont, CA; two sisters, Aline White Woods, of Lawton, OK, and Betty Ruth Dowell, of Antioch, CA; and many nieces and nephews.
