Colibert, 88, of Guthrie, Oklahoma, will be held at Summit View Cemetery at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, November 16, 2002, with Reverend Roger Pitt of West Guthrie United Methodist of Guthrie, Oklahoma, officiating. Burial will be in Summit View Cemetery in Guthrie, OK, directed by Smith Funeral Home in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Marion was born on April 11, 1914, in Guthrie, OK, to Alexander and Glendora Colibert. He died Wednesday, November 13, 2002, at Logan Hospital and Medical Center in Guthrie, OK Marion was retired from Fairmont Creamery, Guthrie, OK, and as a Nursing Home Administrator. He is survived by his wife Violet Colibert, Guthrie, OK; a daughter, Peggy Maker and husband Tommy, Guthrie, OK; one brother Clarence Colibert, Midwest City, OK; four grandchildren: Gary Maker and wife Dama, Guthrie, OK, Brian Johnson and wife Lisa, Chickasha, OK, Barbara Doughty and husband Manny, Edmond, OK, and Dr. Jason Johnson, Weatherford, OK; also nine great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by parents; a daughter, Carolyn Johnson; a sister, Ruby Mayes and a brother, Walter Colibert. Memorials may be made to the West Guthrie United Methodist Church, Guthrie, OK.
