All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== The Anadarko Daily News 11 December 1985 BELLE CLARK VERDEN - Services for Belle Matteson Clark, 94, of Verden will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Hansen-Binyon Chapel with the Rev. Burl Mackey, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Verden, officiating and Carl Stillwell, pastor of the Church of Christ of Verden, assisting. The casket will remain open until 1 p.m. Friday and will be closed for the services. Clark was born March 9, 1891 in Cyclone, Mo., and died Tuesday in Chickasha. She moved to Oklahoma from Pineville, Mo., in 1970. She was a member of the Pineville Church of Christ. She married Thomas Burr in 1909 in Pineville. He preceded her in death. In 1950, she married Henry Clark, who also preceded her in death. Survivors include two daughters, June Horn of Verden and Faye Brashear of Pineville; one son, Ray Burr of Purcell; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren.
