CONN TUESDAY Funeral services were held at the Baptist church Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock for Mrs. Mary Melvinia Conn, with Rev. I. A. Harrison officiating. Mrs. Conn died Sunday morning at 730 o'clock after a lingering illness at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ben White, southwest of town. Mrs. Conn was 74 years of age. Surviving members of her family are Three daughters, Mrs. Mae Harper of Broken Bow, Okla; Mrs. Ben White, Cement, and Mrs. Orpha Estess, Gresham, Oregon; one son, Jasper Conn of Maud, Okla; two stepchildren, Mrs. Jewel Hudson of Wolf, Okla, and Bud Conn of McAlester; and one sister, Mrs. Lucy Mayberry of Blair, Okla. Interment was in the Verden Cemetery.
