Camp, 81, of Chickasha, Okla., will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2003, at Full Gospel Church, Cyril, Okla. Rev. Larry Wheeler will officiate. Maggie H. Camp was born July 9, 1921, in Corn, Okla., and died on Sunday, March 9, 2003, in Chickasha. Burial will be in Celestial Gardens, Cyril, under the direction of McRay's cyril Funeral Home. ========== The Chickasha Express-Star 12 March 2003 MAGGIE H. CAMP Funeral services for Maggie H. Camp, age 81, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2003, in the Full Gospel Church in Cyril, Oklahoma. Rev. Larry Wheeler will officiate. Maggie was born the daughter of Benjamin Taylor Stamper and America Nichols Stamper on July 9, 1921, in Corn, Oklahoma. She died on Sunday, March 9, 2003, in Chickasha. Maggie grew up on the family farm outside of Cyril. She attended Cyril High School. Maggie married J. C. Camp on June 1, 1941, in Cyril. She lived in Cyril most of her life. Maggie loved to garden, sew, write poetry, crochet, draw and collect butterflies. She also sold butter, milk and eggs which she produced on the farm. She spent her life devoted to her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. C. Camp, brothers, Fred Stamper, Bryon Stamper, Woodrow Stamper and Moody Stamper; sisters, Bessie Cornstock, Eva Nash, and Alma Van Winkle. Survivors include: daughter and husband: Bunny and Larry Wheeler of Lafayette, Indiana; daughter and husband: Kathy and Verlon Stidham of Chickasha; son and wife: Charles and Marcia Camp of Chickasha; son and wife: David and Kim Camp of Cyril; eleven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; sister-in-law: Vera Mae Reynolds; numerous nieces and nephews, including local resident, niece Jeanette Worden of Ninnekah. Interment will be in the Celestial Gardens in Cyril.
