CAMPBELL Graveside services for Faye L. Campbell, 93, of Chickasha, Okla., will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2002, at Fairlawn Cemetery. Faye L. Campbell was born March 1, 1909, and died on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2002. Services are under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. ========== The Chickasha Express-Star 20 December 2002 FAYE L. CAMPBELL Graveside service for Faye L. Campbell, 93, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, December 21, 2002, at the Fairlawn Cemetery. Faye L. Campbell was born March 1, 1909, in Quannah, Texas, the daughter of L. W. and Claudia (Render) Wiley, and died Wednesday, December 18, 2002, in Chickasha, Oklahoma. She moved to Eldorado, Oklahoma, as an infant and later moved to Roosevelt, Oklahoma. Mrs. Campbell moved to Chickasha in 1923. She attended Junior High School and one year of high school in Chickasha before moving to Edmond. She graduated from Edmond High School and attended Central State Teachers College (now U.C.O.) from 1927-1929. She married John D. Campbell, her high school sweetheart, May 12, 1929. He preceded her in death February 17, 1979, three months before their 50th Wedding Anniversary. They made their home in Edmond and Oklahoma City until 1948, when they moved back to Chickasha. Mrs. Campbell was an active member of the First Baptist Church for over 53 years, was a member of the W.M.U. Mission Group, Lydia Bible Class, "Triple L" Club and was a member of the Needle Craft club. She was also preceded in death by, parents; son-in-law, Wayne N. Goss; granddaughter, Kathy K. Campbell; 1 sister, Estes Higgins; 1 brother O. A. Wiley. Survivors include: 1 daughter, Gaye Goss of Chickasha, Oklahoma; 1 son, Jerry D. Campbell and wife, Louise, of Edmond, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Kirk and Karen Goss of Oklahoma City, Gary and Kim Goss of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Ken and Gretchen Goss of Hilton Head, South Carolina, Jon D. and Jill Campbell of Springfield, Missouri, Kayla A. and Dennis Gibson of Edmond, Oklahoma; 9 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Lois Meyer of Oklahoma City; nieces: Jean Crumrine of Chickasha, Jean Lile of Oklahoma City; nephew, Dr. F. D. Wiley of Chickasha. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to: Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children, 3800 N.
