Chandler Graveside services for Dana Chandler will be held Saturday, August 10th, 2002, at 7:00 p.m. in the Pocasset Cemetery just south of Pocasset on Highway 81. Born January 27, 1956, he stepped from our arms into the arms of those awaiting him on July 30, 2002. He was surrounded by friends and family throughout his lengthy battle with cancer. A former Minco resident Dana had lived for many years in Washington, where he was employed as a wood stove installation technician. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, camping, building and driving dune buggies and rough terrain vehicles. He was preceded in death by one sister, Kim Ellen Chandler; two brothers, James Raymond Chandler and Thomas Franklin Chandler; his father, Raymond F. (Shorty) Chandler; and one son, Jeremy Joe Chandler, born December 31, 1977, and killed in a hit-and-run accident on March 25, 2000. Jeremy's ashes will be buried with his father, Dana. Dana is survived by his wife, Nancy Chandler, of the home; two sons, Chad Eberhart, of Longview, WA, and Jericho Earl Chandler and wife, Rebecca, of Pflugerville, TX; mother, Betty J. Chandler of Woodward, OK; sisters, Gale Lynn and Tom, of Sharon, OK, and Freda Chandler and Gary, of El Reno, OK; two brothers, John W. Chandler, of Farmington, NM, and Earl F. Chandler and Tina, of Pocasset, OK; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Dana and Jeremy, Remaining forever in our hearts, living forever in our memories, they will be sorely missed.
