Joe Richard Conner was born October 5, 1916 and died January 25, 2005. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home of Tuttle. ========== Tuttle Times 2 February 2005 JOE RICHARD CONNER Funeral services for Joe Richard Conner, 88, of Tuttle, Oklahoma were held at 1:30 pm, Thursday, January 27, 2005 at the Tuttle First Baptist Church. Joe Richard Conner was born October 5, 1916 in Pocasset, Oklahoma the son of John and Nellie (Oliver) Conner and died January 25, 2005 at Southwest Medical Center, Oklahoma City. Joe married Vergie Lou (Robinett) on August 2, 1940 at the Tuttle Methodist Parsonage. They were married for 64 years. Both Joe and Vergie are members of the First Baptist Church. Joe was a lifetime farmer around the Tuttle Community. Joe was preceded in death by his father and mother; two brothers; one sister; and two grandsons. Survivors include: his wife: Vergie Lou Conner of the home; two sons: Bobby Joe and Jenna Conner of Blanchard; J.B. and Pearl Conner of Tuttle; one daughter: Anna Louise Bromlow of Tuttle; two brothers: Twin, Jack Conner of Midland, Texas, Warren Conner of Katy, Texas; one sister: Lorene Gourley of Ozona, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
