William Calvin Crow was born Dec. 11, 1909, and died on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2003. Burial will be in Rush Springs Cemetery, Rush Springs, Okla., under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. ========== ŠThe Chickasha Express-Star 26 October 2003 WILLIAM "CALVIN" CROW Funeral service for William "Calvin" Crow, 93, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 27, 2003, at Grand Assembly of God Church. William "Calvin" Crow was born December 11, 1909, in Milo, Carter County, Oklahoma, the son of Thomas Sanford Crow and Minerva "Nervie" Belle (Wood) Crow and died October 23, 2003, in Chickasha. Mr. Crow moved from Milo to Rush Springs in a covered wagon when he was 5 years old. He had loved in Grady County for 88 years. He and Marice "Laverne" Bennett were married April 30, 1941, in Chickasha. Mr. Crow owned and drove his own trucks. Mr. Crow served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Grand Assembly of God Church. Mr. Crow was preceded in death by: parents; 4 brothers: Willis, Alvie, Elmer, and Robert Lee Crow; 3 sisters: Minnie Mills, Stella Harland and Leda Gilbreath. Survivors include: Wife, Marice (Laverne) Crow of the home; 1 daughter and son-in-law, Helen and Larry Hatfield of Chickasha; 1 son and daughter- in-law, Helen and Larry Hatfield of Chickasha; 1 son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Becky Crow of Houston, Texas; 2 sisters: Odell Brown and husband, David of Redding, California, Ethel Lewis of Ashdown, Arkansas; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
