TRACY LYNN CHAMBERS CARPENTER was born May 1, 1969 in Chickasha, Oklahoma and died November 19, 2002 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Tracy was born and raised in Chickasha. She graduated from Chickasha High School. She moved to Oklahoma City in 1992. Tracy had worked at Integris Baptist Hospital for the last four years. She was currently attending Oklahoma City Community College, studying to be a registered nurse. Tracy was a loving wife and mother. She never met a stranger and loved the outdoors. She and Michael Carpenter were married July 11, 1992 in Texas. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church of Chickasha. Tracy was preceded in death by: grandmother: Mary Best and father-in-law: Charles Carpenter. Survivors include: husband: Michael Carpenter of the home; 1 daughter: Alexis Skye Carpenter of the home; 4 stepchildren: Jennifer Carpenter of Moore, Oklahoma, Nikki Carpenter of Pleasanton, Texas, Heather Carpenter of Pleasanton, Texas, David Carpenter of Moore, Oklahoma; 1 stepgrandson: Nicholas Robles, father: Wade Chambers and wife, Marla, of Oklahoma City; mother: Pat Chambers of Chickasha; sister: Stacy Palmer and husband, Dusty, of Chickasha; brother: Wade Chambers and wife, Eileen, of Chickasha; grandfather: Francis Best of Chickasha; 2 stepsisters: Brenda Hayes, Ann Peters and husband, Steve; 1 stepbrother Andy Hayes; mother-in-law: Connie Carpenter; 3 brothers-in law: Charles Carpenter, Steven Carpenter, Anthony Carpenter and wife, JoAnn all of Jacksonville, Texas; 1 sister-in-law: Sheila Carpenter of Jacksonville, Texas; several nieces and nephews. Interment will be in the El Reno Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. Special thanks to OU Medical Center Trauma staff at Everett Towers and special thank you to all her many friends at Integris Baptist.
