Carroll was born Feb. 10, 1917 in Rush Springs and died Friday, March 28, 2003, in Chickasha. Interment will be in the Bradley Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. ========== The Chickasha Express-Star 31 March 2003 MURL CARROLL Funeral service for Murl Carroll, 86, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, was held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, March 31, 2003, at the First Baptist Church of Bradley. Murl Carroll was born February 10, 1917, in Rush Springs, Oklahoma, the daughter of Oscar and Minnie (Boozer) Coon and died March 28, 2003, in Chickasha. Mrs. Carroll was born and raised in Rush Springs, Oklahoma. She moved to Bradley in 1935. She and Louie Carroll were married March 6, 1935, in Dumas, Texas. Mrs. Carroll worked at Ben Franklin store and later worked at T. G. & Y. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bradley. She was a member of the Home Extension Club for over 50 years at the Bradley and Friend Community. Mrs. Carroll was preceded in death by: parents; infant daughter: Marilyn. Survivors include: husband: Louie Carroll of the home; 1 daughter: Kay and Harold Barrington of Bradley, Oklahoma; 5 grandsons: Kent and Rose Barrington, Steve and Sonya Barrington, Randy and Vicky Barrington, Toby and Connie Barrington, Scott Barrington; 11 great grandchildren.
