November 17, 2001, at 1:00 p.m. at First and Georgia Church of Christ, with Brother Willie Mays, minister, officiating. Sarah Lee Robinson was born December 21, 1936, unto Rev. Willie C. and Willie Mae Robinson. She attended Lincoln school. She lived a happy childhood where gospel singing and softball activities were everyday events. Sarah was an active member at Shepherd Street Christian Church working with the mission, choir, and wherever she was needed. At the time on her home going, she was a faithful member of the First and Georgia Church of Christ. Sarah Robinson united in holy matrimony to Norvell Craine. To this union four sons were born: James, Darrell, Jeff, and William. Sarah was loved by everyone whom She came in contact with. She always carried a pleasant smile, and an optimistic spirit, a meek and humble disposition in which she was always able to face disappointment and adversity with a smile. Sarah, along with her three sisters (Katherine, Helen, and Doris Ann) in 1985 recorded a gospel album. A few of the marquee songs were ?I give all My Praises to Thee.? Sarah was the lead singer on the song ?You got to Die?. Sarah was preceded in death by her husband Novell Craine, both parents, and two brothers, Willie B. Robinson and Allie J. Robinson. She is survived by her for sons: James and Evelyn Craine of Sacramento, California; Darrell and Donna Craine of Chickasha, Oklahoma; Jeff Craine of Lawton, Oklahoma; and William Craine of Sacramento, California; three sisters: Katherine Robinson of Oklahoma City, Ok; Helen Pattillo of Lima, Ohio; Doris Webber of Chickasha, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren, and one great grandchild. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Internment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of the Brown/Christian Funeral Home.
