Officiating was Jim Sheerer. Burial was in the Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Binyon Funeral Home. Mrs. Crain was born 15-Sep-1898 at Mount Pleasant, Texas to Robert E. and Susie (Wilson) Mann. She married 23-Sep-1917 Steve Blake Crain at Slate Shoals. They later lived in Sulphur and in 1927 they moved to Verden. The Crains farmed north of Verden until his death on 09-Sep-1965. In 1966 Mrs. Crain moved to Chickasha. She was a member of Central Church of Christ. For the past 12 years, she had lived in Shanoan Springs Residence with her son. Preceding her in death were her husband, her parents, three brothers and one sister. Survivors include three daughters, one son, two sisters, eight grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
