All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== The Chickasha Express-Star 19 September 2004 EUGENE RICHARD CRUMM Funeral service for Eugene Richard Crumm, age 78, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 19, 2004, in the McRay Funeral Home Chapel. Ron Johnson and John Mulford will officiate. Eugene Richard Crumm was born the son of Jackson Richard Crumm and Iris Irene Helton Crumm on July 13, 1926, in Verden, Oklahoma. He died on September 16, 2004, in Oklahoma City. Eugene grew up in the Chickasha area. He served in the United States Navy during World War II on several ships. Eugene returned to the Chickasha area after his discharge from the Navy. He met Myrtie Buchanan, and they were married on July 13, 1952. They lived north of Chickasha since their marriage. Richard was a carpenter most of his life and built many commercial buildings in the Chickasha area. He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, three brothers, one son, Richard Crumm, and one grandson, Junior Jaques. Survivors include his wife, Myrtie Crumm, of the home; daughter and son- in-law, Rachel and Jerry Streavel, of Chickasha; son, Raymond Crumm, of Del City; son, Jack Crumm, of Oklahoma City; sister, Lela Balke, of Minco; sister and brother-in-law, Wanda and Gene Ellis, of Norge; brother and sister-in-law, Les and Kathleen Crumm, of Tuttle; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and a host of friends. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 20, 2004, in the Fairlawn Cemetery.
