All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Friendship Cemetery--Minco OK GLESSIE WHITE DAVIS Surname: DAVIS, DAVIDSON, BRAXDALE, SCOTT, CARTER, OSBORN, CHILTON Funeral for Glessie White Davis, 82, 110 Skyline Drive, Chickasha, will be at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 22, 1984, in the Brown-Binyon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lester G. Shearer, associate pastor of Epworth United Methodist Church, officiating. Glessie White Davidson was born Sept. 15, 1902, at Pocasset, and died Thursday, Dec. 20, 1984, in Chickasha. She married Claude L. Davis on July 28, 1921, at Pocasset. Mrs. Davis was raised at Pocasset. She had lived and worked in Los Angeles, Calif. before moving back to Chickasha in 1971. She was a member of the Pocasset Eastern Star, Susanna Wesley Group of United Methodist Women, and Epworth United Methodist Church in Chickasha. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude L. Davis, in 1944; by both parents, Robert Davidson and Ellen Braxdale Davidson; and two brothers, Eugene Davidson and Otto Davidson. Survivors include one son, C. L. Davis of Grand Prairie, Texas; one grandchild, Robert Scott of Ft. Ord, Calif; three sisters, Josephine Carter of Purcell, Nora Bell Osborn and Mable Chilton, both of Chickasha.
