HERBERT FELIX DAVIS 

Surname: DAVIS, BEATY, OGLE, SPROWLES, HORN, HINES, FERRELL, BROWN, MORRIS

Funeral service for Herbert F. Davis, 53, Minco, will be at 3 p.m. 
Friday in the First Baptist Church, Minco, with Rev. J. C. Crabbe, 
pastor, officiating.
Mr. Davis was born July 31, 1922, in Minco. He died Wednesday evening, 
January 21, 1976, in Grady Memorial Hospital, Chickasha.

He had lived in the Minco area all of his life. He was a veteran of 
World War II and a member of the First Baptist Church in Minco. He was 
married on Sept. 18, 1944, in Chickasha to the former Miss Laverta Jean 
Beaty. For the first 20 years he was employed by the Shulte Oil Company 
in El Reno.

Survivors include his wife, Laverta Jean, of the home; one son, Gary Ray 
of Minco; three daughters, Mrs. LaFonda Jean Ogle of Houston, Texas, Mrs.
Karen Sprowles of Minco and Mrs. Joann Horn of El Reno; 11 grandchildren; 
one brother, Charles of Chickasha; four sisters, Mrs. Aline Hines and Mrs.
Wilma Ferrell of Minco, Mrs. Neta Brown of Fort Orchard, Wash., and Mrs. 
Charlene Morris of Chickasha.

Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, under direction of Reynolds 
Funeral Home in Minco
