DAVIS Surname: DAVIS, STUCKS, STEPAHOVICH, HINES, FERRELL, BROWN, MORRIS Funeral for Charles (Charlie) J. Davis, 53, Chickasha, will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 23, 1979, in College Heights Baptist Church, 12th and Grand, with Rev. C. A. (Pete) Spradlin, pastor, officiating. The casket will be open from 12:30 until 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the church. It will be closed thereafter. Graveside service will be conducted at Evergreen Cemetery in Minco by Laboyd Tower of Chickasha Jehovah Witness Church. Mr. Davis was born April 20, 1926 at Pocasset. He died Friday, Dec. 21, in Grady Memorial Hospital following a sudden illness. He married Betty J. Davis on June 27, 1948, at Ninnekah. A veteran of World War II, he resided in the Pocasset and Chickasha area all of his life. He was a sales representative for Mac's Wholesale at Ardmore and a member of the Chickasha First Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Betty J. Davis of the home; a son, Terry Davis of Houston; two daughters, Mrs. Rhonda Stucks of Chickasha and Mrs. Dede Stepahovich of Altus; four sisters, Mrs. Aline Hines and Mrs. Wilma Ferrell, both of Minco, Mrs. Arnita Brown of Washington and Mrs. Charlene Morris of Chickasha; and seven grandchildren.
