Davis, 60, of Route 1, Amber, died suddenly Saturday at Grady Memorial Hospital after a heart attack. Born Dec. 25, 1901, in Missouri, Davis had farmed in the Minco and Pocasset areas since 1907. He was a member of the Bible Baptist Church, Chickasha. Davis is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lillian Davis; two daughters, Mrs. Wanda June Sitterding, Hayward, Calif., and Mrs. Gwendolyn Shadoan, Chickasha; one son, Ronald Davis, Arlington, Tex. One brother, Clayton Davis, Oklahoma City; five sisters, Mrs. A. L. Souders, San Bernardino, Calif; Mrs. Bertha Voigt, Oklahoma City; Mrs. Lawrence Jolly and Mrs. Jim Hamilton, both of Minco, and Mrs. H. C. Goss, Chickasha, and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held for Mr. Davis at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of the Brown Funeral Home, with Rev. James Moore, pastor of the Bible Baptist church, officiating. He will be assisted by Rev. Jimmy Garrett. Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Brown Funeral Home.
