All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Ninnekah Cemetery--Ninnekah OK The Chickasha Express-Star 3 October 2003 MARY ELIZABETH (BOSWELL) DUKE Funeral service for Mary Elizabeth (Boswell) Duke, 90, of Ninnekah, Oklahoma will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 4, 2003, at the First Baptist Church of Ninnekah. Mary Elizabeth (Boswell) Duke was born October 31, 1912, in Grady County, Oklahoma the daughter of Tom and Lueretter (Brooks) Boswell and died October 1, 2003, at her home in Ninnekah. Mrs. Duke lived in the Ninnekah Community all of her life. She married Homer Simpson Duke in December of 1933. To this union were born 3 sons. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the Ninnekah Home Demonstration Club and was a member of the Ninnekah Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by: Parents: Tom and Lueretter Boswell. Husband: Homer Simpson Duke; 1 son: Johnny Ray Duke; 7 brothers and 3 sisters. Survivors include: 2 sons and their wives: Rondal and Leona Duke of Ninnekah, Oklahoma, Lynn Deon and Mona Duke of Ninnekah; 8 grandchildren: Marty Duke and wife, Kim of Rush Springs, Tracy Goad and husband, Jimmy, of Piedmont, Bart Duke and wife, Shawna, of Ninnekah, Eric Duke and wife, Misty, of Lindsay, David Duke and wife, Jennifer, of Ninnekah, Molly Simonton and husband, Quin of Lindsay, Jim Seely of Ninnekah, Don Seely and wife, Betty, of Ninnekah; 11 great grandchildren; host of nieces and nephews.
