Lottie Fay Dickenson was born July 1, 1913, in Addington, Okla., and died on Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2004, at her home in Chickasha. ========== The Chickasha Express-Star 7 October 2004 LOTTIE FAY DICKENSON Funeral service for Lottie Fay Dickenson, age 91, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 8, 2004, in the McRay Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Bill Long will officiate. Lottie Fay was born the daughter of Peter Joel Lister and Ella Mae Boren Lister on July 1, 1913, in Addington, Oklahoma. She died on Tuesday, October 5, 2004, at her home in Chickasha. Lottie came to Chickasha in 1919 from Addington. She married Ben Fred Dickenson on September 9, 1930, in Chickasha. Lottie worked at Grady Memorial Hospital from 1965 until her retirement in 1975. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church and the Extension Homemakers Rural Neighbors Club. Lottie was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Ruby Wallen, four brothers, Warren, Frank, Elmer, and Ed Lister, her husband, Ben on July 24, 1986, one son, Patrick on June 20, 1985, and one granddaughter, Franchesca Dickenson. Survivors include her son, Michael J. Dickenson of Chickasha; grandson, David Lester of Ardmore; grandson, Rollo Dickenson of Chickasha; granddaughter, Amanda Dickenson; and sister, Clare Long of Norman. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery.
