"BILL" DUGGER William D. "Bill" Dugger, 62, of Chickasha, Okla., died Friday, June 20, 2003, at Integris Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Okla. Services are pending with McRay Funeral Home. ========== The Chickasha Express-Star 23 June 2003 WILLIAM D. "BILL" DUGGER William D. "Bill" Dugger, 62, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, was the son of Richard L. and Irene (Stout) Dugger. He was born on July 5, 1940, in Elk City, Oklahoma and died Friday, June 20, 2003, In Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2003, at the First Baptist Church of Chickasha. Rev. Johnny Tims will officiate. Graveside services will follow at 4:00 p.m. at Red Hill Cemetery, Hammon, Oklahoma, with the Rev. Les Banks officiating. Funeral services are under the direction of McRay Funeral Home of Chickasha, Oklahoma, and Brown- Dugger Funeral Home of Perry, Oklahoma. Memorials maybe made to the American Heart Association. He was a 1958 graduate of Hammon High School. He attended Central State University, Art Center School in Hollywood, California, and graduated from OCU in 1962 with a bachelor of science degree in marketing. In 1966 he earned his juris doctorate degree, and in 1987 he received his MBA from OCU. On June 19, 1960, he and Sharon Johnson were married at the Methodist Church in Hammon, Oklahoma. After graduating from law school in 1966, he practiced law for a short while in Ardmore and Elk City and later was employed by the Liberty Bank and Trust Co. of Oklahoma City as special counsel. In 1969, they moved to Canadian, Texas, where he was vice president of the First National Bank. Later, they moved to Hobart, Oklahoma, where he was associated with his father-in-law in the automobile business. He was employed by the SWODA from 1971 through 1976. He and his wife owned and operated Video Images in Chickasha. He and his family moved to Anadarko (in) 1976, where he was employed with Western Farmers Electric Coop until his retirement in 1997. After retirement, Bill continued as a consultant. He was a member of the American Bar Association, Oklahoma Bar Association, charter member of the Livewire Toastmasters of Anadarko, Oklahoma, and Rotary International of Anadarko, Oklahoma. He was 32nd degree Mason and a Shriner. Bill accepted Christ at the age of nine years old, and in 1976 was ordained a deacon by the First Baptist Church in Hobart, Oklahoma. He served as a deacon in the First Baptist Church of Anadarko and Chickasha. In addition to his wife, Sharon, Bill is survived by: one daughter, Danielle Lacy, and her husband, Terry, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one son, David Dugger, and his wife, Audra, of Austin, Texas, who are expecting their first child this month; four grandchildren, Devin, Zachary, Terry and Dawn; his mother, Irene Dugger, of Elk City, Oklahoma; one brother, Richard L. Dugger, and his wife, Cynthia, of Hammon, Oklahoma. Bill was preceded in death by his father, Richard L. Dugger; father-in-law, H. T.
