Raymond Doshier died on Sunday, July 6, 2003, in Bluewater, N.M. ========== The Chickasha Express-Star 8 July 2003 RAYMOND HENRY DOSHIER Graveside services for Raymond Henry Doshier, 87, of Cement, will be Wednesday, July 9, 2003, at 10:00 A>M> in Celestial Gardens Cemetery, Cyril, OK, with Rev. Roger Bennett, pastor of First Baptist Church, Cement, officiating. Mr. Doshier died Sunday, July 6, 2003, in Bluewater, Cibola, New Mexico. Services are under the direction of Hodge Funeral Home, Fletcher, OK, and Grants Mortuary, Grants, NM. He was born December 4, 1915, in Booneville, Logan, Arkansas, to Thomas Wiley Doshier and Minnie Jane (McCoy) Doshier. He married Sybil Ray Smith, October 28, 1936, in Sugar Grove, Arkansas, then moved to Oklahoma in 1946 from Booneville, Arkansas. They had lived in Carpenter, OK, for 8 years before moving to Cement in 1961. They had one child, Billy Wayne Doshier, who preceded them in death, May 22, 1993, in Covington, OK. His wife Sybil died March 30, 2003, in Cement. Raymond was a member of the First Baptist Church, Cement. Mr. Doshier had been staying in New Mexico for the past 3 months. Survivors include nieces and nephews: Judy Doshier Hassell and her husband, Earl, of Bluewater, NM, Ron Doshier and wife, Sharon of Prewitt, NM, David Doshier and wife, Jeannine of Lafayette, LA, and numerous other nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his parents; 6 sisters: Myrtle Doshier Sewell, Ruby Doshier, Nannie Doshier Hames, Audrey Doshier Horton, Nola Doshier Grimes.
