All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Resthaven Memorial Gardens--Duncan OK Duncan Banner 11/21/2002 Annie Laura Dodd Annie Laura Dodd, 97, a former resident of the Rush Springs community for 48 years, died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2002, in Country Club Care. Service will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Clark officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Dodd was born Jan. 20, 1905, in Brown Township, Comanche, to Jim and Ida Mae Evans Wilkins. She married Charlie E. Dodd on Aug. 6, 1926, in Grandfield. He preceded her in death on May 7, 1985. Mrs. Dodd was a homemaker and rancher and a affiliated with the Baptist church. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Connie Dodd of Duncan and Kenny and Joann Dodd of Marlow; six daughters and three sons- in-law, Edna Gilley of Duncan, Ida and Nollis Rogers of Arizona, Pearl and Johnny Morrow, Janice and Roger Mallory and Lucile Dodd, all of Duncan, and Jeri Dodd of Tennessee; three brothers, George Wilkins of Mineral Well, Texas, Buster Wilkins of Lubbock, Texas, and Buck Douglas Wilkins; three sisters, Cloreen Allen and Florence Wilkins, both of Mineral Wells, and Ruby Autry of Alabama; and many, many grandchildren, great- grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
