Dalton, 74, died Wednesday, Sept. 3, 1997. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Lynn Hancock, pastor of Briarwood Church, and the Rev. Gene Allen, former pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Dalton was born in Chickasha, Okla. He moved to Pampa in 1942 from Canadian. He married Deca Reynolds in 1940 at Miami. He worked for Cabot Machinery Division for 35 years, working for 17 years as a truck driver and later working as a foreman. He retired in 1981. Mr. Dalton was a Navy veteran of World War II, having served on the USS Beltremia. He attended Briarwood Church. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Martin, in 1981. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Pat Bolton and Bobbi Brumfield, both of Pampa; a son, Curtis Dalton of Pampa; a brother, R.D. Dalton of Pampa; a sister, Jean Webb of Pampa; nine grandchildren; and 11 great- grandchildren.
