June 2003 ROBERT DALE "BOB" DOAN, SR. Robert Dale Doan, age 65, of Dibble, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2003, at his home. He was born on October 2, 1937, to Edward A. Doan and Edna Marie Schutte Doan in Delaware, Indiana. Robert was a supervisor for Delta Faucet of Chickasha and Greensburg, and retired after 29 years. He also served in the U.S. Air Force for four years. He enjoyed fishing, farming, restoring old cars, and spending time with his grandchildren. Robert married Dorothy Jean Hosmer on May 21, 1950, in Delaware, Indiana. He is survived by his wife Dorothy, of the home; children: Robert, Jr., and wife Sandra Doan, Dibble, OK, Steven and wife Lisa Doan, Amber, OK, Timothy and wife Clara Doan, Lindsay, OK, Michael and wife Stephanie Doan, Blanchard, OK, Douglas and wife Amy Doan, Chickasha, OK, Edward and wife Terra Doan, of Anadarko, OK; siblings: Eugene and wife Pat Doan, Meeker, OK, Kenneth and wife Pauline Doan, Dillsboro, IN, and sister-in-law Dottie Doan, Delaware, IN; grandchildren: Kerry, Timothy (T. J.), Cassandra, Chelsea, Joel, Ethan, Taylor, and Jessica. He is preceded in death by both his parents, brother Richard Doan, and twin granddaughters, Tiffany and Jennifer Doan. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2003, at Dibble Freewill Baptist Church, with Rev. Lewis Cox officiating. Pallbearers include Robert, Jr., Steven, Timothy, Michael, Douglas, and Edward Doan. Honorary pallbearers include Eugene and Kenneth Doan. Interment will be at the Hale Cemetery near Dibble, OK.
