All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== The Chickasha Express-Star 7 January 2004 ZELMA FAY DORMAN Zelma Fay Dorman, 96, died Monday, January 5, 2004, in the Grady Memorial Hospital in Chickasha. She was born May 3, 1907, in Hillsdale, to Charles and Lula Belle Haley Craig. Her family moved to Enid, and Zelma graduated from Enid High School in 1925. She married James Howard Dorman, Sr., May 10, 1932, in Sayre, Oklahoma. They lived on a farm for seven years before moving to Enid. She was a waitress at the Enid Bus Station, then Woolsworth's, and then Pillsbury Mill until it was closed. She then moved to Norman and worked at the Griffith Memorial Hospital. She moved to Oklahoma City and worked in the cafeteria at The Oklahoman and then the Gracy Nursing Home before retiring in 1975 and moving to Chickasha. She has been a member of the Hillsdale Congregational Church. She is survived by two sons; Charles Dorman, Chickasha, and James Howard Dorman, r., Norman; and one granddaughter. She is preceded in death by 6 sisters (of which one was her twin) and 3 brothers. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 8, 2004, in the Enid Cemetery with Rev. J. Thomas Pullin officiating.
