All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Rush Springs Cemetery--Rush Springs OK Lyle Russell Derozier Lyle Russell Derozier, 83, of Rush Springs died Monday, December 14, 1998, in Chickasha. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, in the chapel of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Rush Springs with the Rev. J.V. Lobaugh officiating. Burial was with full military honors in Rush Springs Cemetery. Mr. Derozier was born November 30, 1915 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, the son of Clarence L. Derozier and Abigail G. (Taylor) Derozier. He was married to Bobbie Charline Willoughby in Falls County, Texas, on February 27, 1948. She died February 3, 1996. He attended Stevens Point School in Wisconsin. He had lived at Rush Springs over 28 years and was a retired machinist for Hart Manufacturing in Chickasha. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Army. He was a member of the DAV Post, Chapter 17 in Grady County. He served as a Deacon at the Vimy Ridge Baptist Church where he was a member. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Lloyd R. and Debra Derozier of Minco, Danny M. and Carol Derozier of Tigerton, Wisconsin, and Jerry W. and Patricia Derozier of St. Peters, Missouri; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Joyce L. and Ronnie Jennings of Chickasha, Patricia D. and Glenndon Johnson of Haileyville, Annie-Marie and Kenneth Orr of Rush Springs, and Linda C. Rice of Bray; 21 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; two sister, Ruth Ekelin of Plover, Wisconsin, and Shirley Maki of Kenosha, Wisconsin. Pallbearers were Roland Nee, Jim Icenogle, Wayne Sluder, Fred Ferguson, Rick Blankenship, Frankie Gee, and Bill Garrett. Honorary pallbearers were Jim Chaffin, Phil McMasters, Jimmy Williams, Robert Kuntz, Trammell Boswell, and David Hale.
