Eads Sr., 92, of Amarillo, died Monday, Nov. 8, 1999. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Ivy Chapel, 2820 Virginia Circle, with Dr. John Bridwell, minister emeritus of First Christian Church, officiating. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum. Mr. Eads was born in Tuttle, Okla., and moved to Amarillo in 1943. He was a hide and wool buyer. He was a former Mason and a member of First Christian Church and the Loyalty Sunday School Class. In 1994, he married Audrey Morris at Amarillo. He married his first wife in 1928 at Wellington. She died in 1992. He also was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Lou Chambers, in 1972 and by a son, E.H. Eads Jr., in 1975. Survivors include his wife; a brother, Alph Eads of Wheeler; three grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. The family suggest memorials be to Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice and Life Enrichment Center, Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79176-0001; or a favorite charity.
