Juanita Lorene Ewing was born June 28, 1915 in Ft. Cobb, Oklahoma the daughter of Walter Eubert and Minnie May [Johnson] Harlan and died Tuesday, March 21, 2006 in Chickasha. Alva and Juanita were married September 27, 1933 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. They farmed south of Tuttle until 1947. They moved to Cement and owned and operated a laundry from 1947 - 1955. Juanita was a homemaker from 1955 on. She moved to Chickasha in 1986 and resided there until her death. Mrs. Ewing was a member of the First Christian Church of Cement, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by: her husband: Alva Ewing in 1985; one son: Jerry Eugene Ewing; two brothers: Leon L. Harlan and Joseph Harlan; two sisters: Opal Harlan and Wanda June Harlan. Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law: Wanda and Kenneth Brown of Chickasha; one son and daughter-in-law: Aubrey and Linda Ewing of Perryton, Texas; one sister: Cloe Dean Amerson of Scio, Oregon; daughter- in-law: Charlene Ewing of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.
