FIKE Funeral services for Luenettia A. Fike, 84, of Minco, Okla., will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003, at First Reformed Presbyterian Church of Minco. Rev. Jim Brackeen will officiate. Luenettia A. Fike was born April 11, 1919, in Crowder, Okla., and died on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2003, at her home in Minco. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Minco, under the direction of Huber- Reynolds Funeral Home, of Minco. ========== The Chickasha Express-Star 2 November 2003 ALBERTA FIKE Funeral services for Alberta Fike, 84, of Minco, will be held Saturday, November 1, 2003, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Reformed Presbyterian Church in Minco, with Rev. Jim Brackeen officiating. Alberta was born April 11, 1919, at Crowder, Oklahoma, to James W. and Annie Leota (Harrelson) Hardy, and died Thursday, October 30, 2003, at her home in Minco. She has lived in the community since 1977. She married John Ivan Fike in 1938 at Dutton, Oklahoma. She founded the Minco Senior Citizens Center and coordinated fundraisers including Publishing a book for the center. She was a caretaker to the elderly. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Annie Hardy; husband, John I. Fike on June 29, 1977; 4 brothers: Rex, Jim, Bill and Tink Hardy; and 2 sisters: Ida Hicks and Ina Ray. She is survived by niece, Leota Denny of Chickasha, and great niece Mary Atkinson of Minco, and a host of other nieces and nephews; sisters Flora Wilson Greely of Chickasha, Dora Edwards of Sacramento, California, Dennie Farris of Sacramento, California, Utah Hardy of Corning, California. Pallbearers: Ronnie Thomas, Rodney Thomas, David Hintermeister, Johnny Edward, Lee Hamilton, James Head. Honorary: Noel Whitlow, Jerry McCathern, Jeff Doucet, Matthew Thomas, Paul Thomas, Elijah Thomas, Dakota Doucet.
