All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Rush Springs Cemetery--Rush Springs OK Rush Springs Gazette July 26, 1947 Last Rites Held for Fannie Foster 73 Funeral Services for Fannie Foster, 73, were held Wednesday afternoon at three in the Church of Christ. Services were conducted by Brother E.T. Russell of Chickasha and Floyd Spivey of Fort Worth, Texas. Pallbearers were six of her grandsons: Perry Heilman, Carrol Heilman, L.C. Foster, Tommy Foster and Weldon Foster. Honorary Pallbearers were: L.V. Morris, E.F. Dawkins, W.L. Barker, Bill Harris, R.S. Atchison and C.E. Bernard. Interment was in the Rush Springs Cemetery under direction of the Callaway Mullican Funeral Home Fannie Elizabeth McNatt was born December 24, 1873 at Aurora, Missouri, the daughter of James Add and Nancy McNatt. She departed this life January 14, 1947 at her home in Rush Springs at the age of 73 years and 21 days. She was united in marriage to Oliver Perry Foster, February 1895 in Indian Territory, now known as Thackerville, Oklahoma. Her husband preceded her in death. To this union were born 5 sons and 3 daughters, of which 7 are now living, one son having died in infancy. She obeyed the Gospel at an early age and lived a Christian life for more than 50 years, devoting her time to her family and friends surrounding her. Sister Foster leaves to mourn her passing, the three daughters; Mrs. W.M. Heilman of Rush Springs, Mrs. L.L. Johnson of Kingfisher and Mrs. James Harold Lee of Kearney, Nebraska and Four sons, Loyd C. and Verd W. of Rush Springs, Add M. of Los Angles, California, and Hubert O. of Fort Worth, Texas; One brother, W. E. McNatt of Rush Springs, two sisters, Mrs. Iva Harmon, Cushing and Effie Salners of Chicago, Illinois.
