Johnetta, three and one half year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ira 
Fitzgerald who live five miles northeast of town, died February 6th and 
was layed to rest in the city cemetery Monday afternoon. Rev. Taylor 
preached the funeral sermon, which was listened to by a large throng of 
sorrowing friends.

Little Johnetta only a few short years ago came to brighten a happy 
home, but having taken her departure, the dark shadows of sorrow have 
come to sadden the fond parents hearts. A chair of the family circle is 
vacant which never can be filled, but another Angel Graces the Throne of 
God. We extend sympathy to the bereft parents, and commend them to Him 
who is able to wipe their tears away.
