Lee Roy Fullerton was born July 30, 1916, in Gracemont, Okla., and died on Thursday, Jan. 17, 2002, in Chickasha. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home. The Chickasha Express-Star 19 January 2002 Lee Roy Fullerton Funeral services for Lee Roy Fullerton, 85, of Chickasha, will be held Monday, Jan. 21, 2002, at 1:30 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with Benny Mathes officiating. Lee Fullerton was born July 30, 1916, in rural Gracemont, Oklahoma. He died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2002, at Christian Care Retirement Center in Chickasha. Lee grew up in the Gracemont area, where he attended Stecker and Oney rural schools. He married Kay Rene Hines in Fort Cobb, Oklahoma, on April 18, 1935. After their marriage Lee and Kay Rene farmed in western Oklahoma. They moved to Chickasha in 1947 from Hammon, Oklahoma and Lee opened Fullerton Auto Sales, on South Fourth Street, selling used automobiles and operating the business until his retirement in 1982. Lee enjoyed hunting game in Colorado and traveling. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and Chickasha Elks Lodge. Lee was proceeded in death by both parents and one brother. Survivors include his wife Kay Rene, of the home; one daughter, Sylvia Bell Fullerton of Denver, Colo; two brothers and sister-in-law, Lloyd Fullerton and Vernon and Ruth Fullerton both Oklahoma City of Oklahoma City and several nieces and nephews. Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Ferguson Funeral Home.
