All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== The Chickasha Express-Star 17 January 2005 KAY RENE FULLERTON Funeral services for Kay Rene Fullerton, 87, of Chickasha, Okla., will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2005, in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel. Kay Rene Fullerton was born Aug. 27, 1917, and died on Sunday, Jan. 16, 2005, at her home in Chickasha. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home. ========== The Chickasha Express-Star 18 January 2005 KAY RENE FULLERTON Funeral services for Kay Rene Fullerton, 87, of Chickasha, will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2005, at 1:30 p.m., in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel, with Bennie Mathews officiating. Kay Rene Fullerton was born August 27, 1917, in rural Athens, Tennessee. She died Sunday, January 16, 2005, at her home in Chickasha. Kay Rene grew up in the Hammon, Oklahoma area, where she attended Pie Flat rural school. She married Lee Roy Fullerton in Ft. Cobb, Oklahoma, on April 18, 1935. After their marriage Lee and Kay Rene farmed in western Oklahoma. They moved to Chickasha in 1947, from Hammon, Oklahoma, where Lee and Kay Rene opened Fullerton Auto Sales, on South Fourth Street, selling used automobiles and operating the business until their retirement in 1982. Kay Rene and Lee both enjoyed hunting game in Colorado, traveling, and spending time with their many, many friends. They were members of the Moose Lodge and the Chickasha Elks Lodge. Kay Rene was preceded in death by both parents, one brother, and two sisters. Survivors include one daughter, Sylvia Fullerton, of Chickasha; one brother-in-law, Floyd Fullerton, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two sisters- in-law, Ruth Fullerton, of Oklahoma City, and Francis Hine, of Hammon, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews; and many, many special friends.
