Birdie (Hill) Ford

Funeral service for Birdie (Hill) Ford, 96, of Chickasha, was held
at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, April 5, 1990, in the Chapel of Sevier
Funeral Home.

Birdie (Hill) Ford was born August 5, 1893, in Baird, Texas, and died 
Tuesday, April 3, 1990, in Chickasha.

Mrs. Ford came to Chickasha in the early 1900s and had lived here since
that time.

She and Ben Ford were married March 29, 1913.  He preceded her in death 
August 11, 1980.

Mrs. Ford was a member of the First Baptist Church and Meridian Home 
Demonstration Club.

She was also preceded in death by three daughters, Julia Johnson,
Floribel Ford, and LaHoma Corr; four brothers and four sisters.

She is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth McDaniel of Edmond; 11 
grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

Interment was held in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of
Sevier Funeral Home.
