Carl Edward Goff was born March 6, 1931, and died on Monday, April 29, 2002. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. ================= The Chickasha Express-Star 10 May 2002 Carl Edward Goff Carl Edward Goff was born March 6, 1931, in Flora, Illinois, the son of Theodore and Lela (Hammock) Goff, and died April 29, 2002, in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Carl had lived in Chickasha since 1952. He worked for the City of Chickasha for the street department for 39 1/2 years. He and Wilma Blacksher were married May 27, 1950, in Cement, Oklahoma Carl served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict and received a Purple Heart. He was saved and baptized at Calvary Baptist Church in September 1952 and has been a member there ever since. He was preceded in death by an infant child, a daughter, Amy Victoria; his parents Theodore and Lela Goff, and his step-father Roy Pruitt; a sister Freda Beck, and 2 brothers Harold and Don Goff. Survivors include: his wife Wilma Goff, of the home; 2 daughters: Brenda Saunier, of Chickasha, Dianna McCoy and husband Gene, of Lindsay, Oklahoma; 4 sons and their wives: David and Carolyn Goff, of Chickasha, Darrel and Sue Goff, of Chickasha, Edward and JoAnna Goff, of Peru, Steven and Holly Goff, of Lindsay, Oklahoma; one brother Fred Leroy Goff and wife Wynona, of Flora Illinois; 2 sister-in-laws Mildred Blachsher and Naomi Garrett, both of Chickasha; a brother-in-law and wife Orvil and Rosalee Sanders, of Oklahoma City; 24 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
