All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== The Chickasha Express-Star 12 January 2004 LEONA GOLDSMITH Graveside service for Leona Goldsmith, 87, of Cement, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 12, 2004, at the Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha. Leona Goldsmith was born March 31, 1916, in Fox, Oklahoma, the daughter of Curtis and Lizzie (Jones) Smith, and died January 10, 2004, in Chickasha. She lived in the Cement and Fairview areas for over 60 years. She and Joe Goldsmith were married December 16, 1939. He preceded her in death in 1990. Mrs. Goldsmith was a member of the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church and was a member of the Fairview Quilting Club. She was also preceded in death by: Parents; 1 brother, William Smith; 1 sister, Geneva Norwood. Survivors include: 3 sons and their wives: Don and Betty Goldsmith of Pampa, Texas, Gary Lee and Carol Goldsmith of Lewisville, Texas, Rex and Desie Goldsmith of Cement, Oklahoma; 3 sisters: Louise Harmon of Chickasha, Nadean Chambers and husband, Bob, of Chickasha, Hazel Trotter of Chickasha; 1 brother, Curtis Smith, Jr., and wife, Rexlynn, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; 4 grandchildren: Steven Goldsmith and wife, Kim, of Pampa, Texas, Cindy Flaharity and husband, Darrell, of Pampa, Texas, Jacky Goldsmith of Cordell, Oklahoma, Holly Goldsmith of Lewisville, Texas; 5 great grandchildren: Stefani Goldsmith, Shane Goldsmith, Ryan Goldsmith, Kelly Flaharity, and Melyssa Flaharity.
