All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Gray, Jeremy James Funeral service for Jeremy James Gray, 25, of Norman, Oklahoma will be held at 1:30 pm, Friday, December 20, 2002 at the Parkview Christian Church, Chickasha. JEREMY JAMES GRAY was born February 9, 1977 in Chickasha, Oklahoma and died December 16, 2002 in Oklahoma City. Jeremy grew up in Norman. He graduated from Norman High School in 1996 Jeremy was currently attending Oklahoma City Community College. November 2001 Jeremy entered Norman Regional Hospital with congestive heart failure. His heart still failing, he was sent to Baptist in January 2002, diagnosed with cardiomyopathy. Baptist put Jeremy on the heart transplant list February 2002. Jeremy was sent to Utah to receive a LVAD for a bridge to transplant May 7th, 2002. June 1, 2002 Jeremy was about to return home and Utah transplanted Jeremy with a perfectly matched heart. Jeremy had a full recovery and returned home July 2002. He returned to school and was back to a full life. December 9th, 2002 Jeremy experienced a mild heart attack and was hospitalized again. Jeremy again experienced another heart attack that made his heart stop beating and the doctors were unable to keep him going. Jeremy will be greatly missed by all whose life he touched. He was preceded in death by: Grandfather: M.C. Goyne. Survivors include: parents: Sharon and Harold Gray of the home; mother: Connie Heilmann of Norman, Oklahoma; 1 brother: Brandon Gray of the home; grandparents: Ron and Rosa Lea Morris of Alex, Oklahoma, Maxine Ingrum of Moore, Oklahoma; aunts: Sherry Holder, Deborah Hale, Elizabeth Holcroft, Joyce Olmeda, and Martha Jo Patton; uncles: Ron Gray, Paul Gray, Bud Gray, Tommy Gray and James Attebury. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
