All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Rush Springs Cemetery--Rush Springs OK Harell R Grissam Surname: Grissam, Capps, Morris, Martin, Crossen, Thomas, Thompson, Punneo, Williams Funeral services for Harell R Grissam, age 79 of Norge, will be held at 2:00 pm Monday in the Brown-Binyon Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Edward Whitley of Cyril will officiate, and Sister Delois Aldridge of Apache will assist. Harell R Grissam was born at Burns Flat, OK on November 24, 1913, the son of Joseph Grissam and Dollie Capps Grissam. He died Friday, July 23 1993, at his home in Norge. Mr Grissam lived most of his life in Grady County. He married Hazel Morris on December 18, 1937, at Rush Springs, OK. The Grissams were married fifty-five years and seven months. The Grissmas lived in Ninnekah before moving to Norge in 1970. Since age 12, he was a farmer and mechanic. Mr Grissam was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, two sisters and a daughter, Katherine Martin, who died on February 25, 1974. Survivors include his wife Hazel of the home; six sons and two daughters, Dollie Grissam of CHickasha, Glen of Norge, Joe of Tuttle, Marilyn Crossen of Norge, Robert of Teague, TX, Larry of Anadarko, Gary of Norge, Darell of Mexia, TX; six daughters-in-law; one son-in-law; four sisters, Elizabeth Lee of Hillsboro OR, Ellen Thompson of Knoxville TN, Joanne Punneo of Duncan, Cora Belle Williams of Idabel OK; five brothers, Enos Grissam of Del City, William Grissam of CA, John Grissam of Bowie TX, George Thomas of Idabel, and Charlie Thomas of Duncan; twenty-six grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren.
