All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== MARY KATE (SITTERDING) STUCKWISCH GARDNER Surname: SITTERDING, POLLERT, STUCKWISCH, GARDNER Funeral service for Mrs. Mary Kate Gardner, 92, 1928 Idaho, Chickasha, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, 1973, in the chapel of Brown's Funeral Home. Mrs. Gardner was born June 10, 1881, in Sauers, Indiana, the daughter of George Henry and Hannah Elizabeth (Pollert) Sitterding. She came to Grady County in 1900 from Indiana and served as court baliff from 1952 until 1968. She married Edward Charles Stuckwisch on Feb. 25, 1900 in Jackson County, Indiana. He preceded her in death on July 9, 1924 in Chickasha. She married William Gardner in 1934. He preceded her in death in June, 1953. She was also preceded in death by one son, Oliver, in 1956. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church and a member of the Lutheran Ladies Aid. Mrs. Gardner died Saturday, Nov. 17, 1973, in Grady Memorial Hospital, Chickasha. Survivors include one daughter, Miss Elsie Stuckwisch, Chickasha; one son, Clay Stuckwisch, of Crescent; five grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
