The Verden News

John Graham passed away at his home north of Verden Friday, June 14, at 
the age of 74. He had been ill for several months. Funeral services were 
held at the Methodist church Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Rev. 
Giles officiating. Burial was made in the Verden cemetery. Committal 
services were conducted by the Masonic Lodge.

Mr. Graham came to Oklahoma in early days from Missouri. He came here 
from Calumet. Surviving members of the family are the widow, 3 sons, 
George, Cecil, and Frank, 3 daughters, Mrs. Allie Maupin, Mrs. Susie 
Talkington and Miss Fern Graham and 13 grandchildren. Three children 
preceded him in death a baby daughter, Betty and Mary, who died May 10 
at her home in Wisconsin and brought here for burial.
