The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ====================================================================== The Chickasha Express-Star 22 July 2002 LAWRENCE GRAHAM Funeral Service for Lawrence Graham, 79, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 23, 2002, at Calvary Baptist Church in Chickasha. Lawrence Graham was born October 25, 1922, in Yukon, Oklahoma. He was the son of John Wesley and Mabel (Bushey) Graham. He died Saturday, July 20, 2002, in Chickasha. Mr. Graham graduated from Yukon High School in 1940. He moved to Chickasha in 1946 where he farmed northwest of the city. He later worked as partsman for the local John Deere and Massey Ferguson farm implement companies until retiring from Star Machinery. He owned and operated Graham Package Store for several years. After retirement he was a driver for Johnsons of Chickasha. He and Evelyn were married on November 1, 1965, in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was a member of the Elks Lodge. Mr. Graham was preceded in death by parents and one sister, Iona Ford. Survivors include: his wife Evelyn Graham of the home in Chickasha; 2 sons: Keith Graham and his wife Teri of Oklahoma City and grandsons Wes Graham and Matt Graham of Oklahoma City, and Reford (Sonny) Borroughs and wife Marsha of Norman; granddaughter, Brooke Borroughs of Oklahoma City; sister: Francis Mote of Yukon; several nieces, nephews and cousins, including nieces Phyllis Jean VanPelt of Richardson, Texas, Brenda Newberry of Oklahoma City, OK, Linda Pope of Phoenix, AZ, Betty Parker of Oklahoma City, and Sherry Levy of Harrison, Arkansas. Interment will be in Memory Lane Cemetery, Anadarko, Oklahoma, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
